Dr. Abidoye is a dynamic development economist with excellent analytical, leadership, and communication capabilities. Babatunde has developed innovative solutions to address global development policy challenges (SDGs) with knowledge of global development and processes and experience. Babatunde has years of experience working with international development partners providing strategic and practical solutions to solve world problems.
Dr. Abidoye has proven experience developing micro and macroeconomic models to inform policymakers globally to aid strategic plans for advocacy and research on SDG issues. He has led teams of economists and inter-disciplinary experts to analyze the impact of climate, environment, and conflict on the SDGs. He also has developed and mentored economists in different countries on quantitative tools to understand environmental and agricultural policies.
Babatunde also spends his time thinking about education and health in developing countries and the role of technology in development – he co-directs Community Based Development Partners (www.cbdpartners.org) that provide support to hospitals and schools in Nigeria. The NGO collaborates with these institutions to strengthen existing programs and to provide needed supplies, equipment, and other support. The NGO signature programs include Scholars Program, Coding Camp. Medical Fair Program, Scholars Program, Coding Camp.
